1. Self-service deletion
If you can sign in, open Account settings and use Delete account in the Danger zone. FacturaOS displays a summary and asks for confirmation before the process begins. Deletion is designed to be irreversible.
If you cannot access the account, email privacy@facturaos.com from the account address when possible. We may require identity, workspace role, and ownership verification before acting.
2. Personal account effects
Deletion removes or de-identifies the user profile, authentication account, personal preferences, analytics preference, and access to workspaces, subject to the exceptions below. You may lose access to records that another workspace owns even when those records are not deleted. Deleting one identity does not delete another saved or separately authenticated account, and removing an account from a device does not delete the underlying FacturaOS account.
3. Workspaces you own
Deleting an owner account may cancel subscriptions billed directly by FacturaOS and permanently delete workspaces owned solely by that account, including business settings, locations, service areas, working hours, members, invitations, client profiles, invoices, estimates, templates, catalog and inventory records, memberships and redemption records, suppliers, purchase orders, routes, reports, exports, support records, files, and related operational data. It does not cancel an App Store subscription or automatically cancel a customer-membership obligation held by a provider.
If business continuity is needed, transfer ownership or export records before deleting. FacturaOS is not responsible for loss caused by deleting without completing those steps.
4. Shared workspaces and other people's records
When you are a member but not owner, deletion normally removes your membership and access but does not delete the workspace or records controlled by its owner. Your name or identifier may remain in audit, authorship, invoice, payment, or security records where necessary to preserve integrity.
Information another business submitted about you is controlled by that business. We may direct your request to it or assist it under the Data Processing Addendum.
5. Billing, connected payments, and customer memberships
Account deletion is different from ordinary subscription cancellation. The deletion flow may cancel subscriptions billed directly by FacturaOS for owned workspaces immediately, and unused direct-billing time may be lost except where the Refunds and Cancellation Policy or law provides otherwise. Apple controls App Store subscription changes and cancellation separately under its policies. Before deleting, manage or cancel the subscription at https://apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions; FacturaOS and RevenueCat cannot cancel it for you.
Deleting FacturaOS queues erasure of the associated RevenueCat customer profile and retries temporary provider failures. That erasure does not cancel an App Store subscription or stop Apple Account charges. For a Stripe connected account, FacturaOS deletes its local connection and payment-event data and queues removal of FacturaOS platform access through Stripe's supported controls; it does not close the Stripe account. Deletion also does not necessarily cancel customer subscriptions created for the connected business, close an ATH Business account, refund customers, reverse owner-recorded external payments, resolve disputes, release reserves or holds, erase records another provider must retain, or eliminate negative balances and payment obligations. Before deleting, pause or cancel customer memberships through the supported flow, communicate with customers, complete refunds, reconcile redemptions and collections, and manage remaining obligations directly with each selected provider.
6. Information we may retain
We may retain limited information when reasonably necessary for:
- Tax, accounting, billing, refunds, payment disputes, chargebacks, and financial reconciliation.
- Security, fraud and abuse prevention, consent records, audit trails, legal claims, litigation holds, and enforcement.
- Compliance with law, valid legal process, regulator or provider requirements, and protection of rights or safety.
- Backups, disaster recovery, aggregated statistics, and de-identified information that no longer reasonably identifies you.
7. Timing and provider systems
The active deletion process begins after valid confirmation and normally completes without unnecessary delay. Complex workspaces, payment records, legal holds, and provider systems may require additional time.
If RevenueCat is temporarily unavailable, FacturaOS retains only the opaque app user identifier and restricted retry metadata needed to complete that provider erasure. The private retry entry is removed after RevenueCat accepts the deletion or confirms that no customer remains.
For Stripe connected-account follow-up, FacturaOS retains only the opaque Stripe account identifier and restricted removal-status, lease, retry, and review metadata. The private entry contains no workspace or user identifier and is removed after Stripe confirms that FacturaOS can no longer access the connected account.
Residual copies may remain temporarily in encrypted backups, logs, email-delivery systems, fraud systems, and third-party providers until their retention cycles complete. Retained information remains protected and restricted to the retention purpose. Provider policies and retention do not limit non-waivable deletion or privacy rights under applicable law; where law provides greater protection, that law controls.
8. Before you delete
Before confirming deletion:
- Export invoices, tax records, customer records, sold-membership terms, benefit and redemption history, reports, evidence, and other information you must retain.
- Transfer workspace ownership and revoke or resolve pending invitations where appropriate.
- Cancel any App Store subscription in Apple subscription settings at https://apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions, then review direct subscriptions, seat capacity, customer memberships, owner-recorded external payments, connected Stripe or ATH Business obligations, credentials, refunds, disputes, settlements, and outstanding balances.
- Inform team members and clients if deletion will affect their access, memberships, benefits, invoices, payment links, or records.
